Shopping cart software buyers BEWARE! The purpose of this site is to give buyers and users of the Quikstore shopping cart software a forum to air their complaints and, in so doing, warn prospective buyers about Quikstore Limited, the newly formed UK company that acquired Quikstore. As it turns out, Quikstore Limitied is, well, very limited indeed. As many of you know, Quikstore was a great shopping cart product with a reputation for exceptional support. According to a July 17, 2007 posting on the Quikstore website (recently removed), Quikstore.com was acquired by a newly formed UK company conveniently named Quikstore Limited and, apparently, headed by a fellow named Dick Crane. Quikstore Limited continues to sell the Quikstore shopping cart software product, including installation and customization charges to willing buyers, but, after the sale, they just don't seem to exist. In what I believe is an effort to limit public discussion of their failures and, perhaps, misdeeds, signup to the user forums has been shut down and some current users banned. All new buyers are prevented from participating in the user forums and airing their complaints. Because support for the Quikstore product appears to be non-existent and installation agreements go unfulfilled, even when paid for, many recent buyers and long-time users are simply abandoning it and looking for another shopping cart software solution.
